There are Direct flights from most big European cities to Stavanger (European culture capital this year). The Norwegian low-fare airline (Norwegian Air Shuttle) has several flights weekly to (NICE, London ”Gatwick”, Alicante, Madrid, Malaga, Munich, Paris, Prague, St Petersburg, Warsaw,...)
And there are many other airlines which fly directly to Stavanger. This map shows you all of them. And you can see that SAS, Lufthansa and KLM have direct lines from their principal airport to Stavanger.

By car

If you drive to Norway from Denmark (by Ferry to Eigersund ) you are about 1 hour from Stavanger, and you will find the indication  (Airport Sola ) on the highway, 10min. before Stavanger. You drive to the airport and you will find the indication to the SolaStrand Hotel.
